It's an annual tradition that SCENE screens the iconic 1939 movie musical adaptaton of L. Frank Baum's ‘Oz’ stories.
The Wizard of Oz has been adopted by the LGBTQ+ community as a symbol of love, community and acceptance so much so that this Judy Garland classic is the inspiration for this year's Manchester Village Pride Parade theme.
As Pride is reclaimed by the community with The Gay Village at it's core, of course the theme had to be "No Place Like Home" so click your ruby slippers and say it with us - as we get ready for an unforgettable Pride weekend.
